Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran e "Despacito" são indicados ao Billboard Music Awards

O Billboard Music Awards anunciou na manhã desta terça-feira (17) os indicados para sua 60ª edição, que neste ano será transmitida ao vivo pela emissora NBC. Kendrick Lamar e Ed Sheeran lideram a corrida, com 15 nomeações cada. Bruno Mars chega em seguida, com 14.

Os três artistas concorrem juntos em um dos principais prêmios, a de Top Artista, ao lado de Drake e Taylor Swift.

Na categoria Hot 100, só hit: O fenômeno “Despacito”, de Luis Fonsi, disputa com a canção do ano segundo o Grammy, “That’s What I Like”, de Bruno Mars. “Humble”, de Kendrick Lamar, "Rockstar", de Post Malone, e “Shape of You”, de Ed Sheeran, também estão na corrida ao prêmio que equivale à música do ano.

As primeiras indicações foram anunciadas por Khalid e Bebe Rexha durante o programa americano “Today Show”. O evento que se dedica a distribuir prêmios aos artistas que mais tocaram e venderam no ano acontece no dia 20 de maio, em Las Vegas.
