Tony Awards divulga indicados e "The Great Comet" lidera em 12 categorias

O Tony Awards divulgou nesta terça-feira (2) a lista completa dos indicados ao prêmio, que será entregue em uma cerimônia ao vivo no dia 11 de junho. O evento será apresentado por Kevin Spacey, no Radio City Music Hall, em Nova York, nos Estados Unidos.

O musical "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812" foi o líder em indicações deste ano, em 12 categorias.

O musical é uma adaptação do volume 2, parte 5 da obra "Guerra e Paz", de Leon Tolstói, focado no romance entre Natasha e Anatole e a busca de Pierre por um sentido para a vida.

O prêmio Tony é o equivalente do teatro e musicais ao que o Oscar é no cinema. Ele foi criado em 1947 e entregue pela primeira vez em 1949.
