'Game of Thrones' lidera as indicações aos prêmios Emmy 2015

Los Angeles, 18 Set 2015 (AFP) - O drama fantástico "Game of Thrones" lidera as indicações para o prêmio máximo da televisão Emmy Awards que será entregue no próximo domingo concorrendo em 24 categorias.

As indicações incluem melhor série dramática, em que vai disputar com "Better Call Saul", "Downton Abbey," "Homeland," "House of Cards", "Orange is the New Black" e "Mad Men."

"American Horror: Freak Show" ficou em segundo lugar, com 19 indicações, seguido por "Olive Kitteridge", com 13.

A série cult retrô "Mad Men" também marca presença nas indicações, com sua temporada final da história de uma agência de publicidade criada nos anos 1960 em Manhattan.

Na categoria melhor série cômica aparecem "Louie," "Modern Family", "Parks and Recreation", "Silicon Valley", "Transparent", "Veep" e "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."

A cerimônia será apresentada pelo comediante Andy Samberg, protagonista da série "Brooklyn Nine-Nine".

A festa começa às 17H00 locales (21H00 de Brasília) no teatro Microsoft de Los Angeles.
